Season 4 in production! 

It’s no secret that you don’t really know a person, until you’ve travelled together. That is exactly what Philippe Geubels, the Flemish comedy darling, does in Taboo. He invites four guests for a holiday in a lovely country house. The guest list is very diversified. In the 3rd season we meet with: suicide loss survivors, people fleeing conflict,  deaf and hard of hearing people, people with Tourette’s syndrome, survivors of abuse and mistreatment, women going through menopause, people living with dementia.

But that’s not all of it. Humour prevails in Taboo. Philippe remains Flanders most popular comedian and he does what he does best: stand-up comedy. Philippe performs a comedy set on every topic, with his new friends in the front row, at a venue packed with people who are in the same situation.

All these ingredients blend into Taboo. It is the very first Philippe Geubels tv-show for één and it’s a unique mix of human interest and comedy, connecting people through humour.

The remarkable qualities of Taboo didn’t go unnoticed abroad. The series has already been commissioned and produced in 8 countries, including Australia, Switzerland, Canada, and Spain, with multiple options still running in other territories.
